Biography

Jeanette Wong holds a Bachelor degree in Music from McGill University. She has been teaching the Suzuki program since 2004. She was also a teacher at the McGill Conservatory of Music in Montreal.

Jeanette has received Suzuki teacher training from Mary Craig Powell and Doris Harrel.

She was also the organist and choir director of St. Lawrence Anglican Church in the City of Lasalle from 2006-2010.

From 2001-2010 Jeanette was the Assistant Conductor of the South Shore Children's Chorus and has been a member of the St. Lambert Choral Society from 2003-2008.

Since 2011, Jeanette has followed the training of the Dalcroze approach to teach music. She is working towards the Certificate of Dalcroze teacher in the Summer Dalcroze Institute of Longy School of Music of Bard College in Boston.

In her teaching, the Dalcroze approach is frequently used to help students explore and understand music.
